About

The Randolph Heights PTA is a local PTA unit organized under the authority of the Minnesota Congress of Parents, Teachers, and Students (MNPTSA), and the National Congress of Parents and Teachers – the National PTA. It is a separate nonprofit entity from the school or the St. Paul School District.

The three main priorities of the Randolph Heights PTA are:

  • To build our school community in many ways — through volunteering, special events, fundraising, and ongoing projects, teams, and committees ranging from gardening to wellness.
  • To provide information and facilitate communication between and among parents and the school and district.
  • To raise money to support learning opportunities in and out of the classroom, and to help our students and teachers with special initiatives.

In recent years, the PTA has replaced the playground equipment, conducted a a large and successful campaign for a fund for the library that provides an annual grant, and provided significant financial support for music education, as well as many other ongoing activities, such as teacher appreciation, field trip support, and school wide events, recognitions, and celebrations.

If you are a parent or caregiver of a child at Randolph Heights, welcome! You are already a member of the PTA. We hope to see you at a meeting, event, or volunteering in the classroom, for a committee or fundraiser, at a field trip, or in your home. Your involvement is invaluable — it shows the children how much you value their education and that you support our school in providing it.

Enjoy your tour of the PTA website, and don’t hesitate to contact us if you have a question or idea. We look forward to working with you!
