Become a Book Club Volunteer! kids develop a love for reading by becoming a Book Club volunteer!

What is Book Club?
Book Club is an integral part of the reading curriculum at Randolph Heights. Students in Kindergarten through 3rd grade meet with adult volunteers in the library to practice their reading skills and exchange books to bring home. Volunteers listen, encourage and help develop good reading skills. When does Book Club meet?
Starting in late September, volunteers are needed Mondays, Wednesdays and/or Fridays between9:30-11:00am. While consistency is important, volunteers can choose which day or days to participate (for example: every Monday or every Monday and Friday). Book Club wraps up in May.Who can volunteer?
Adults who love kids and want to help them learn to be strong readers are welcome to volunteer. Book Club volunteers have included parents, family members, grandparents, friends and neighbors of Randolph Heights students.
