Doing Good Together: Feb 5th

Book Drive for Doing Good Together

Building strong families, caring kids and a better world

On Thursday, February 5 between 6:00-8:00pm during our Randolph Heights Open House, the Randolph Heights community will come together in the cafeteria and participate in our annual Doing Good Together community service event.

The event is a chance for our school community to give back to organizations in our area and the PTA has planned a great night.

One of the activities planned will benefit Ronald McDonald House, an organization that provides a “home away from home” to families during a child’s health crisis.

Since our school has a strong commitment to reading, it makes senses that we answer the Ronald McDonald House request for books.

Starting on Tuesday, January 20th, the PTA will be collecting new and like-new picture books in a box in the school lobby. At Doing Good Together, kids and adults will create bookplates for these books, complete with inspirational messages and pictures. We’ll then donate the books on behalf of the Randolph Heights community.

Please donate new and like-new picture books to this effort. Students can bring them to school and put them in the box in the lobby.
