Fantastic Fun Run!

We ended up with a beautiful day for our inaugural Randolph Heights Fun Run!

The sky was clear and the temperatures perfect for running laps at Edgcumbe Recreation Center. All students participated to the best of their ability completing between 16 and 36+ laps around one of two 1/16th-mile tracks.

The kids were full of energy as they reviewed the lessons from the last week: Find Your Strengths, Be Brave, Stick Together, Go Big, and Say Thanks. With the music pumping and the crowd of fans cheering, students were all smiles as they made their way around the track.

Many thanks to all the volunteers who jumped in to man the water station, tick off laps and encourage our runners as well as “Turbo TJ” and his team from Apex Fun Run who kept us on track and helped make the event a success.

Through all of your efforts, we’ve received over $30,000 in pledges which puts us on track to raise $15,000+ to benefit Randolph Heights. Way to go Randolph Heights!

If you have pictures you’d like to share from the event or questions about collecting your pledges, contact Peggy Olson, Monica Haas or volunteer@rhs-pta.org.
