Garden Clean-up: Sept 26 @ 2:00pm

Fall Garden Clean-upForking the veg patch

Saturday, Sept 26 @ 2:00pm

Our gardens help to welcome families to our school, provide opportunities for students to learn about plants and insects and beautify our community. While the District cares for our lawn, it’s up to us to take care of our gardens.

Join us on Saturday, September 26 at 2:00pm for our biggest gardening event of the year! We would love any amount of time that you can spare — even 30 minutes is helpful. Bring the kids too, but be aware that no childcare is available.

We will be spending the afternoon pulling out a few dead shrubs, planting beautiful new bushes, and generally just cleaning up the gardens along the front of the school.

What to bring? Pack up your favorite gardening tools: wheelbarrows, shovels, rakes, lawn trash bags, trimming tools, and weeding tools. And don’t forget your gloves — the thistle are spiky!

Please RSVP to Jessica Weislow at so we know how many people to expect and have a way to reach you if we need to cancel due to weather. If you can bring a trailer, let us know!

If you would like to help, but can’t make it on the 26th, please see Mrs. Hubbard in the library to get a work slip. Simply pick up a slip, work with a friend, small group or by yourself whenever you have time. The work slip helps us keep track of the work completed and what needs to be finished.

Thank you for helping keep Randolph Heights beautiful!
