Next PTA meeting Monday, Jan 13

Please join us for our next PTA meeting on Monday, January 13 at 6 p.m. in the library.  (If you can come a little early, the Doing Good Together Team will be gathering at 5:30 to start cutting fleece for blankets for our upcoming Doing Good Together event.  Bring a sharp scissors!)  Nick Faber from the St. Paul Federation of Teachers and Coordinator of the Parent/Teacher Home Visit Project will be joining us to talk about parent engagement and how parents can be more effective in supporting their child’s education.  He will also give an update on the current teachers’ contract negotiations with the District.

Childcare is available for ages 4 and over.  Please let us know if you’ll need childcare by emailing so that our childcare provider can be prepared.  (Sorry, but we are only able to accommodate kids 4 and over at this meeting.  If you would like childcare for kids under 4, please let us know and we’ll work on arrangements for future meetings.)

Also, just a reminder of that the next meeting of the District-wide Parent Teacher Action Team is tomorrow!
January 9th
5:30 – 7:00 p.m.
400 Selby, Suite A, St. Paul.
The topic of this meeting will be PreK – specifically the elimination of PreK at Randolph Heights and the status of expansion of Prek in the district.  All are welcome.  Please join us!
