Technology Update

Over the last two years, our school community has dedicated our PTA Learning and Enrichment Fund to enhancing technology at Randolph Heights. With direction from Dr. Duke and RHS teachers, at our May meeting, the PTA approved the purchase of durable, protective cases for two sets of 30 iPads (requested from the district) and document cameras for each classroom.

Recently, the district announced its revised Personalized Learning Plan which includes providing each SPPS student and teacher with an iPad over the next two years. Randolph Heights will be included in the first group to receive iPads this fall for the 2014-15 school year. With this new direction, the PTA will be working closely with Dr. Duke and teachers over the summer to re-evaluate our plan for using the Learning and Enrichment Fund to enhance technology in our classrooms.
